Ask about distance to your actual hospital, lifts, step-free access, bathrooms, cooking facilities, accompanying family and extensions. Check changes and cancellation directly with the provider if medical dates move.
Frankfurt Airport publishes official information on trains, buses, taxis and other connections. Check the journey from your actual terminal to the institution’s address. RMV provides regional public transport journey planning; timetables, disruptions and tickets must be checked for your travel dates.
Arrange any required assistance directly with the airport, transport company and accommodation in advance. An ordinary taxi is not medical transport. If you need clinical supervision or specialist transport, discuss this with qualified professionals and the provider. Ask about travel after outpatient procedures and whether a companion is needed.
